Patch Tool in Photoshop. This tutorial will show you a great example of how you can use Photoshop’s Patch Tool. In this tutorial, we will use the Patch Tool to select a fruit bowl placed on the kitchen counter. Next, we will use some Photoshop woo doo to make the fruit bowl disappear; it will be as if it never existed. Patch Tool can work much the same way as Photoshop’s hit content-aware tool. Continue reading this tutorial to familiarize yourself with Photoshop’s Patch Tool in a few simple steps.

1. Open any image in Photoshop. This is the image we will be using for this tutorial.

2. Select the fruit bowl using the Patch tool.

3. Now click and drag the selection until the fruit bowl disappears.

4. Now deselect the selection. And now you can see why Photoshop’s Patch tool is no short of magic.
