Create TRON Text Effect In Photoshop

Note: This tutorial has been carried out in Adobe Photoshop CS5. This tutorial is confined to explaining the effects that are visible in the “TRON” text, and not the manner in which the text has been written itself.

1)  Create a new layer with Width 600, Height 340 and fill it #07879c color.

2) Create a new layer and fill it 50% gray color.

3) Open Layer Style. Set Fill as 0%

4) Change Pattern Overlay as shown below:

5 ) Create a new layer. Fill it with black color.

6 ) Set the foreground color black.

7 ) Click Add Vector Mask and now click Gradient Tool. Apply the gradient tool from the top right corner to the middle of the image.

Your back ground is now ready.

8)  Select the Text tool and type in “TRON” with the following settings:

9)  Next you need to go to Layer Style and make the following changes:

Final Result:

Voila!
