The Twilight Effect in Photoshop

Note: For this tutorial you are going to need the Twilight Font. You can search for the font on Google.

Final Result:

1)  Open a new document with the following settings:

2)  Select the Text Tool and make the following changes to the Character Settings:

3)  Type the text “twilight” and place it on the center of the document.

4)  Open Layer Style for the text layer and make the following changes:

5)  Open a new layer.

6)  Select the Brush Tool. Make the following changes and click OK:

7)  Now, we are going to copy some of the effects from the text layer onto Layer 1. In the Layers Panel, hold down the Alt key and drag Gradient Overlay from the text layer onto Layer 1.

8)  Repeat this step but this time drag Pattern Overlay onto Layer 1.

9)  With the Brush Tool still selected, hold down the SHIFT key and draw vertical and horizontal lines on the text.

That’s it, babe. Final Result:

Voila.

    Greetings! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
